The WELL Building Standard
August 22, 2024
6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
The WELL Building Standard is the first standard to focus solely on the health and wellness of building occupants. Originally launched in 2014, this standard marries best practices in design and construction with scientific based health and wellness interventions. With occupants spending 90% of their time indoors, the need to design the lighting, lighting controls, and electrical infrastructure to positively impact nutrition, fitness, mood, sleep, comfort, and performance has never been more important. This is achieved by implementing strategies to encourage healthy and more active lifestyles and reduce exposure to harmful chemicals, lighting conditions and pollutants
